10월 8일에서 14일 사이 이동 운영할 예정 이라니 HB0 가 필요 하신분들은 QRV
하시기 바랍니다. hi hi.
Thanks for the nice QSO we had. Your sigs were coming out of the city very good. No problem at all copying you. Thanks again.
I have a question for you: I am going to Liechtenstein, HB0, next week for a DXpedition. I want to give special attention to Asia amateurs. But of course, the Asia amateurs must know that I am there, waiting for you all. Are you in the possibility of spreading this information your fellow radio amateurs? I have included a piece of information below. Maybe you could forward it to a group of people or an electronic newsletter on the internet?
Also, I will be sending information about when I will be QRV via my Twitter account @frankoppedijk. Please follow me if you need HB0 and want first-hand information on my activity.
Thanks again, and I hope to meet you again on the air, maybe even from HB0.
I will be on a one-man DXpedition to HB0 between 8 and 14 October. If all goes well, operations should start around 19 UTC on 8 October. The last QSOs will probably be at about 6 UTC on the 14th of October.
Operation will be on 80-10 meters, maybe just a bit of 160 meters (although my antenna will be way too short and low to be anything near efficient). The primary mode of operation will be CW. As HB0 is quite a difficult country for hams from the Asian continent, special emphasis will be on Asia / Japan.
I will bring my Elecraft K3 (100W; fully loaded with options) and P3 panadapter. Backup rig is the FT100D that is permanently mounted in the car.
Base camp will be the camping site in Triesen. From this QTH, one has a good view to the northwest (W/VE), but the east is blocked by a mountain range. I will go out with the mobile shack to try and find places with a better view to the northeast. I have good hopes that such a spot exists in the extreme northwestern part of the country.
Antennas consist of two Spiderbeam fiberglass masts with multiband doublets (2x16m, inverted vee-style, fed with 15m twinfeed), one for the camping, one for use during the mobile trips. Also, I have a set of mobile whip antennas that I might press into service for a quick /M QSO from a place where I cannot erect the doublet.
During the DXpedition I will send messages on my whereabouts via Twitter: @frankoppedijk. Please follow me if you want to stay informed about my quest for a good location for Asia.
QSL via home call is okay via the bureau, or direct to the address above (please include an SAE and 1 [Europe] or 2 [outside Europe] green stamps. I can no longer accept IRCs). Also, I will post the log to LOTW within one week after returning home from HB0.
Hope to see you all in the pile-ups!
